Cumulatively, 7,185.84 cubic meters of Field Bund were constructed.

3,505 cubic meters of Cattle pond was excavated
816.82 cubic meters of Channel were cleared.
210 cubic meters of Sunken Pond were created
9 Trainings were conducted for 225 beneficiaries under Sustainable Development Plan.
NABARD and KfW Projects

NABARD KfW SOIL REHABILITAION & CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION PROJECT
NABARD had sanctioned a new project “SOIL REHABILITAION & CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION PROJECT” in six already existing WDF project locations during the year 2021 and the first instalment fund was released during the month of November 2021.

Sustainable NRM, CCA farming practices and food security
Measures to mitigate climate risks.
Capacity building and institutional strengthening measures.

12 Borewell Recharge Pits were constructed.

Summer ploughing was carried out on 65.8 hectares of land.

HRIDAY Project, Tiruchuli Block, Virudhunagar Supported by LIC Housing Finance Limited
Eight villages (ten hamlets) have been selected for the implementation of the project. The eight villages selected for the project falls in two panchayats Kuchampatti and Pulikkurichi. These villages were selected based on the potential for creating a change in terms of natural resources augmentation and livelihood development.

The Project covers two districts in Tamil Nadu, namely, Ramanathapuram and Thoothukudi. The proposed project villages in Kamuthi, Kovilpatti and Pudhur blocks of Ramanathapuram and Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu.

HDFC Smart school Project in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu State
The Project covers one school in Thanjavur District in Tamil Nadu, namely, Raja’s Primary and Higher Secondary School, benefitting over 1500 Students.

Achievement during the year:
4 units of smart/interactive learning infrastructure were installed.
Interior walls of 4 Smart Classes were painted.
Furniture sets (10 per set) for 4 Smart Classes were provided.
Screens for windows and floor mats for 4 Smart Classes were installed.
Miscellaneous (Electrical Wiring Repairs) and other items for 4 classes were provided.
Electrical works and LED lighting for 4 classrooms were completed.

HDFC Flood Relief (Dry Ration Kit) Project, Tamil Nadu State
This project covered the Southern Districts of Tamilnadu namely, Tirunelveli, Thiruchendur, Thoothukudi locations. 6158 Families affected during the floods, received Dry Ration Kits (Flood Relief Kit) from this Project.

6,158 Flood Relief Kits were provided.
5,398 kits were delivered in Southern districts.
760 kits were delivered in Chennai district.

Kone GIM Project
The Project covers the Planting of 10,000 plants in common lands in Tirukalukundram, Chengalpattu district and it also covers watering & maintenance, distribution of manure and fertilisers, weeding, mulching and staking.

500 site clearance and land levelling and land preparation were completed.
10,000 tree saplings were planted in common land including soil filling.
